Point of View Talk with Jessica Campbell

In the gallery

Artist Jessica Campbell, whose work includes comics and graphic novels, will respond to Andrea Carlson: A Painting is a Coin through the lens of sequential art. Andrea Carlson’s work include stacked images, mirroring, movement, and transformation. The influence of sequential art, a broad category that ranges from hieroglyphics to comics and graphic novels, can be seen in Carlson’s paintings, where time unfolds over the surface of a single artwork. Join as Jessica Campbell responds to the exhibition through her practice and pedagogy.
